Denting and Painting Service in Noida β€” Your Car, Back to How It Looked

A dent is a small problem that looks like a big one. It doesn't change how the car drives, but you see it every time you walk up to it, and so does everyone else. A scratch down the door, a cracked bumper from a tight parking spot, a bonnet that has gone chalky after three summers in the Noida sun β€” these are the things that make a perfectly good car feel old.

At Motor & Mechanix, denting and painting happens inside our own workshop at Gaur City-2. Your car doesn't get quietly sent off to some other body shop across Noida and returned two weeks later. We have our own enclosed paint booth, computerised colour matching, and painters who do this every day. Dent and paint work starts at β‚Ή2,500 per panel, and every paint job carries a 2-year warranty.

What Denting and Painting Actually Costs

JobStarting price
Denting and painting (per panel)β‚Ή2,500
Full body paintβ‚Ή25,000
Car detailing and paint protectionβ‚Ή5,000
Insurance claim file chargeβ‚Ή1,000

Where it lands beyond that depends on three things: how many panels are affected, whether the metal is only dented or actually creased and stretched, and what shade your car is. Solid white is straightforward. Pearl and multi-coat metallics take more material and more skill to match, so they cost more.

The quickest way to get a number is to WhatsApp a photo of the damage to 083838 38300. We'll come back with an indicative range the same day, and you'll get a proper written estimate before anyone picks up a tool. Nothing gets added to your bill later without a call first.

Prices exclude GST.

Dents We Fix Every Week

  1. Parking dents and door dings β€” the market parking lot special
  2. Scratches β€” from light surface marks to deep ones that have gone through to the primer or bare metal
  3. Bumper cracks, splits and scuffs β€” repaired where the plastic allows it, replaced where it doesn't
  4. Panel damage β€” doors, bonnet, boot lid, front and rear fenders, quarter panels
  5. Faded, chalky or peeling paint β€” almost always the roof and bonnet, from years of direct sun
  6. Rust patches β€” the metal is cut back and treated, not just painted over so it can come back in a year
  7. Alloy wheel kerb rash β€” repaired and refinished to match
  8. Full body repaint β€” restoring an older car, or a complete colour change

If you're not sure whether something is worth fixing, send a photo. We'll tell you honestly if it can wait.

Dent Removal Without Repainting (PDR)

If the paint on a dent hasn't cracked, we can often push the panel back into shape from behind using specialist rods and tools β€” no filler, no sanding, no paint at all. It's called Paintless Dent Repair, and it has two real advantages: it's much quicker, and your car keeps its original factory paint, which will always be a better match than anything we can spray.

PDR doesn't work on everything. If the paint is broken, if the metal is sharply creased, or if the dent is on a panel edge where there's no access from behind, the panel needs conventional filling and painting instead. We check first and tell you which one applies before we start β€” not halfway through with a revised bill.

Why Paint Jobs Go Wrong, and How We Avoid It

Most bad paint jobs aren't bad because of cheap paint. They're bad because of where the paint was applied. Spray a panel in the open and dust settles into the wet coat. High humidity ruins the cure. Rush the drying between layers and the finish looks fine for six months, then starts to lift.

Here's how we work:

  1. Inspection and written estimate. You see the cost and approve it before anything begins.
  2. Panel repair. Metal is reshaped and dents pulled out. Filler is used only where it's genuinely needed, and only in thin layers.
  3. Computerised colour matching. We start from your car's factory paint code, then adjust the mix for how your existing paint has actually aged in the sun, so the repair matches the car you have today β€” not the car as it left the showroom.
  4. In-booth spraying. Temperature and dust are controlled. We use 2K two-component automotive paint, which cures chemically into a much harder, more durable finish than single-stage paint.
  5. Primer, base coat, clear coat. Each layer fully cured before the next goes on. This is the step everyone in a hurry skips.
  6. Blending into the neighbouring panels so there's no visible edge where new paint meets old.
  7. Inspection under controlled lighting for shade variation, orange peel and dust specks.
  8. Wash and interior clean before you collect it.

Turnaround: usually 48 to 72 hours for a single panel. The repair itself isn't what takes the time β€” the curing is. Multi-panel jobs and full body paint take longer, and you'll get a completion date with your estimate rather than an open-ended β€œcall us next week”. If the car is in for a periodic car service at the same time, we run both together so you only make one trip.

2-Year Paint Warranty

Every paint job we do is covered for two years against peeling, blistering and abnormal fading. If the finish gives trouble in that window, bring the car back and we'll sort it out. That warranty is the reason we don't cut the curing time.

Accident Damage and Insurance Claims

If the damage came from an accident rather than a shopping trolley, most of it is claimable under a comprehensive motor policy. We handle the paperwork end to end β€” surveyor coordination, estimate submission and claim documentation β€” so you're not sitting on hold with your insurer during working hours. The claim file charge is β‚Ή1,000, and you're typically responsible only for the deductible and the depreciation portion.

You do not have to use a workshop your insurer has empanelled. Under the industry's Cashless Everywhere arrangement, you can claim cashless at a garage of your choice as long as the insurer is informed within 48 hours of the incident β€” 24 hours in advance for a planned repair. Tell us your policy details when you book and we'll start that call for you.

Bring your policy copy, and a copy of the FIR or incident report if one was filed. For structural damage from a bigger impact β€” chassis alignment, frame straightening, multiple panel replacement β€” see accident and collision repair.

Frequently Asked Questions

Denting and painting starts at β‚Ή2,500 per panel at Motor & Mechanix, and a full body paint starts at β‚Ή25,000. The final figure depends on how many panels are affected, whether the metal is creased or only dented, and your car's paint type β€” metallic and pearl shades cost more to match than solid colours. WhatsApp a photo of the damage to 083838 38300 for an indicative range, and you'll get a written estimate before any work starts.

A single panel is usually ready in 48 to 72 hours. What takes the time isn't the repair, it's the curing β€” each coat of paint has to harden properly before the next one goes on, and rushing that is exactly why some paint jobs start peeling a year later. Full body paint takes several days. We give you a completion date at the time of the estimate.

Yes. We colour-match using your car's factory paint code from the VIN plate, then adjust the mix to allow for how your existing paint has faded in the sun, and blend into the panels on either side so there's no visible line between old and new. All spraying is done inside our own booth, which is what keeps the finish even and free of dust.

Often, yes. If the paint surface isn't cracked, Paintless Dent Repair can push the panel back into shape while keeping your original factory paint intact β€” it's quicker and cheaper than a repaint. If the paint is broken or the metal is creased sharply, the panel has to be filled and repainted. We check and tell you which applies before we begin.

Yes. We manage surveyor coordination, estimate submission and the claim paperwork for accident-related body and paint work. The claim file charge is β‚Ή1,000, and you generally pay only the deductible and depreciation portion. Bring your policy copy and, if one was filed, the incident report.
