Figo, Aspire, Freestyle (1.2/1.5 Dragon petrol, 1.5 TDCi diesel, Powershift): the Powershift dry dual-clutch is the headline issue โ€” shudder and limp mode. We have the experience to diagnose and rebuild these correctly rather than throwing parts at them.

EcoSport (1.5 TiVCT petrol, 1.0 EcoBoost turbo, 1.5 TDCi diesel): the 1.0 EcoBoost needs careful cooling-system attention; the diesel needs DPF/EGR discipline; suspension knocks over potholes are common.

Endeavour (2.2 / 3.2 Duratorq diesel, 4x4): a tough body-on-frame SUV โ€” injector, turbo and DPF work plus 4x4 transfer-case service are the mainstays.

Common Ford Problems โ€” Symptom, Cause, Fix

Powershift shudder / jerks / limp mode (EcoSport, Figo, Aspire): juddering on take-off or loss of drive. Cause: dry dual-clutch and TCM wear โ€” a known DPS6 weakness. We diagnose with Ford-specific tools, and repair the clutch/TCM correctly so it lasts.

EGR / turbo issues on 1.5 TDCi diesel: power loss, smoke or warning lights โ€” cleaned and repaired at source.

SYNC infotainment freezing: software/connector fault, not always a full unit.

4x4 transfer-case noise (Endeavour): drivetrain inspection and correct oils.

AC cooling failure (EcoSport, Figo): dust-blocked condenser first; pressure-test before compressor.

Suspension knocking (EcoSport): links, bushes and struts over NCR potholes.
